The film War Horse is one of the most hotly anticipated movies of 2012, and we're counting down the weeks until its release. Originally a book by Michael Morpurgo, it was turned into stage play in 2007 and has now been adapted for the big screen by director Steven Spielberg.
Horse & Country spoke to artist Ali Bannister, who was the Equine Artistic Advisor on War Horse. In the first of this two-part interview, she reveals how she became involved in the film.
